Process

　　All items are designed in the US by experienced gift designers. These concepts/prototypes  are then produced in China based companies that are picked for both their quality work and their commitment to social responsibility.

Resin

　　All items are first sculpted by hand. After the school has approved the design, a mold is made of the original sculpture.  It is then cast in a resin material that exacts every detail that the artist intended.

Stained Glass

　　The glass items are all made from stained glass produced both in the US and China. Each piece is hand-crafted with the traditional copper foil and solder technique. The glass logos that we use in many of our items are especially unique. The logo is cut from US made stained glass with a water-jet machine. This machine allows the incredible detail that is a Janco Studio hallmark. The logo is then heat-fused to the item. This process not only attaches the glass to the shade, but also removes any sharp edges.
